Nervosol K Liquid

EFFECTS
The preparation has a sedative and antispasmodic action, decreases excessive nervous agitation.

INDICATIONS
Sleeplessness, agitation, nervous exhaustion, nervous symptoms accompanying puberty and menopause.

DOSAGE
Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: 2 to 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) 3 times daily. Children from 7 to 14 years of age: 15 to 20 drops 1 to 3 times daily. Due to the presence of ethanol, the preparation should not be given to children below 7 years of age, if not prescribed by the doctor.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.

INTERACTIONS
Unknown.

WARNINGS
The preparation contains an average of 53.5% v/v of ethanol. One teaspoonful of the preparation contains about 2.16 g of ethanol.

The drug should not be given to children below 7 years of age.

EFFECTS ON THE ABILITY TO DRIVE AND USE MACHINES
As the drug contains an average of 53.5% v/v of ethanol, taking higher doses may slightly impair psychomotor function and the ability to drive and use machines.

COMPOSITION
Composite fluid ethanol 50 - 57° extract (1:2) of:
valerian root 25.0 parts
angelica root 20.0 parts
lemon balm plant 25.0 parts
hop strobili 15.0 parts
lavender flowers 15.0 parts
One teaspoonful of the preparation contains about 2.16 g of ethanol.

USING THE DRUG DURING PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
Due to the high concentration of alcohol the drug is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
